Establishment of the Strategic Technology Steering Committee to promote the implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW
Amid the global momentum of science and technology, digital transformation, and innovation as key drivers for breakthroughs toward a new development era, FPT Corporation has announced the establishment of its Strategic Technology Steering Committee, comprising five core units: the Quantum AI & Cybersecurity Institute (QACI), FPT UAV, FPT Railway Mobility Technology, FPT Cybersecurity, and DC5. This marks a strategic move by FPT aimed at mastering core technologies and developing high-quality human resources in service of national technological sovereignty.
Establishment of the Low Altitude Economy Partnership to develop high-tech industries applying UAV technologies
The Low Altitude Economy Partnership (LAEP) expects that this new economic sector will stimulate the development of thousands of supporting enterprises, create one million high-quality jobs, and generate tens of billions of USD for Vietnam over the next 10-15 years. LAEP has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Japan UAS Industrial Development Association, opening new development directions in next-generation transportation, particularly in the application of UAVs, drones, and related technology ecosystems. FPT CEO Nguyen Van Khoa, serves as Chairman of LAEP.
Launch of the Strategic Human Resources Alliance to implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW
Representatives of five leading educational institutions signed the agreement to establish the Alliance, including: Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Academy of Cryptography Techniques, Hanoi University of Science and Technology, University of Engineering and Technology (part of Vietnam National University, Hanoi), and FPT University.
The Alliance will contribute to building and developing a pool of high-quality intellectuals and experts to meet the requirements of socio-economic development, the national digital transformation agenda, and international integration. It will also promote training programs and capacity-building initiatives in public administration skills, leadership, and state governance aligned with the new context.
Initiation of the Au Lac AI Alliance to develop Vietnamese large language models
The Alliance was initiated in the context of Decision No. 1131/QĐ-TTg issued by the Prime Minister, which identifies 11 groups of strategic technologies with far-reaching impacts on the nation’s competitiveness and technological autonomy, with AI ranked first. One of the Alliance’s key missions is to develop large language models (LLMs) capable of processing Vietnamese accurately and naturally, in alignment with Vietnamese culture and identity, thereby enhancing public knowledge and promoting national economic development.
The Alliance has attracted the participation of more than 20 members, including organizations, enterprises, startups, and educational institutions.
Accompanying the Government, ministries and localities in digital transformation in line with Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW
FPT has collaborated with the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Ethnic and Religious Affairs, State Bank of Vietnam, and Ministry of Foreign Affairs to develop data and digital transformation strategies, while implementing nearly 40 projects to accelerate digital transformation and build databases for ministries and sectors. FPT has also participated in the development of two critical national databases, including the Electronic Civil Status Database and the National Financial Database, as well as 16 sectoral databases for the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Ethnic and Religious Affairs, the State Bank of Vietnam, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Ministry of Health.
The Corporation has worked alongside the Ministry of Public Security to advise on the development of the National Data Center meeting the highest international standards, and in collaboration with the Ministry of Justice to deploy the Civil Judgment Enforcement Digital Platform and the National Legal Portal.
At the same time, FPT continues to support localities such as Ca Mau, Hai Phong, and Quang Ninh in building digital government, digital economy, and digital society.
Inauguration of the largest data center in Vietnam, laying the foundation for the AI era
The FPT Fornix HCM02 Data Center, located at the Saigon Hi-Tech Park, has a scale of eight floors, with a total area of 10,000 m² and 3,600 rack cabinets. FPT Fornix HCM02 serves as critical infrastructure supporting AI platforms, cloud computing, and digital transformation, contributing to the goal of positioning Vietnam as a digital hub in Southeast Asia by 2030.
Inauguration of a 3,000 m2 R&D Center for high technology and semiconductor chips
FPT’s high technology and semiconductor chip R&D Center in Da Nang is envisioned to become a Tech hub where high-tech products bearing the Made by FPT – Make in Vietnam imprint are created. The center is expected to serve as a regional hub connecting startups, enabling them to share experiences and promote the culture of entrepreneurship and innovation across the business community.
Export of the first power chip shipment to the Japanese market
FPT exported its first shipment of power chips to Japan, marking an initial step toward realizing the goal of exporting chips designed by FPT to the Asia-Pacific market within the next three years. This also represents the first time a Vietnamese enterprise has introduced commercial semiconductor chips to the Japanese market, one of the markets with the most stringent requirements for quality and reliability.
At the same time, the Corporation has commenced construction of an advanced semiconductor chip testing and packaging plant, contributing to the completion of Vietnam’s national semiconductor ecosystem.
Honoring national technological sovereignty with a 1 million USD AI award
This is the largest AI award in Vietnam, honoring AI products and solutions developed by Vietnamese innovators that create breakthroughs for socio-economic development, deliver positive and sustainable impacts for the community, while affirming the aspiration to build a nation with technological self-reliance. The Au Lac Grand Prize is expected to be awarded over three consecutive years starting from 2026. In addition to the 1 million USD cash prize, winning individuals and organizations will receive mentorship and support from FPT and the Au Lac AI Alliance to expand their influence domestically and internationally.
Enhancing the global fan experience for Chelsea Football Club
FPT serves as a strategic partner in consulting, developing, and implementing technology solutions to support the global expansion and development objectives of Chelsea Football Club. With advanced technology infrastructure, service solutions, a world-class workforce, and strong capabilities in core technologies such as AI, Big Data, and Cloud, FPT will help Chelsea strengthen fan engagement and deliver immersive experiences for supporters both at the stadium and across the club’s diverse digital media channels. Both parties are also committed to deploying advanced technologies, including data analytics and AI, in the United Kingdom market and on a global scale.
Signing of a 256 million USD comprehensive AI-enabled digital transformation contract
FPT signed a comprehensive AI-enabled digital transformation contract valued at 256 million USD, marking a new milestone in the Corporation’s digital transformation services. Leveraging deep expertise in the energy sector and a strong team of technology experts, FPT provides an integrated ecosystem of AI-powered digital transformation services for a leading energy corporation in Asia, aiming to foster innovation and optimize operations. The contract will be implemented over a period of five years with a total value of 256 million USD.
Acquisition of Navisoft to address the specific requirements of the securities and banking–finance sectors
FPT invested in Navisoft, a reputable technological company with nearly 20 years of experience in developing technological solutions, particularly in the securities and banking-finance sectors. Through this investment, FPT aims to combine the capabilities, experience, and technology ecosystems of both parties to address specialized challenges in the securities, banking-finance, and digital economy sectors in Vietnam as well as in international markets.
Inauguration of the FPT Education Complex in Hue implementing a multi-level education model
The FPT Education Complex in Hue, with a capacity of 20,000 learners, has welcomed its first students. The complex focuses on education, aligned with cutting-edge technologies, aiming to develop a high-quality workforce and contribute to the effective implementation of the country’s four key strategic resolutions. Hue is the ninth city in the Central and Central Highlands region where the FPT education system is present, and the first locality in the region where FPT has implemented a multi-level education complex model, including general education and vocational education. In 2025, FPT’s education sector completed more than 88,000 m² of construction floor area and expanded its presence to 19 out of 34 provinces and cities nationwide.
Implementation of the Automated External Defibrillator project to enhance community emergency response
The project was launched in alignment with the issuance of Resolution No. 72-NQ/TW by the Politburo of the Communist Party of Vietnam on strengthening the protection, care, and improvement of public health. The project aims to raise awareness, enhance skills, and provide essential first-aid equipment to improve the effectiveness of initial emergency response within the community, particularly in cases of out-of-hospital cardiac arrest.
